Nino is a Bay Area native who grew up in Brentwood and now lives in Lincoln, in Placer County. He has an AAS Degree in Electromechanical
and Architectural Design from Silicon Valley College in Walnut Creek. Nino is also a musician who plays the guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, trumpet, euphonium and sings. His original intention was to become a rock star, but nearly 20 years later, Nino is still designing architectural lighting and control systems.

Nino has won six National Illumination Awards of Merit given by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America: 2015 Interior Lighting Design: UOP Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco, CA; 2012 Energy and Environmental Lighting Design: Affiliated Engineers Inc. While Nino was once a nationally touring musician, his biggest audience now is his family. Nino is an avid homebrewer and his family’s chef, cooking Italian, German, Asian and American comfort food, including BBQ.
